Benson is a litigation associate specialising in dispute resolution in various areas of law, including tax law and procedures, real estate, competition and consumer protection, public procurement and government contracting, intellectual property and judicial review and constitutional law.

He has experience with the United Nations governance and employment framework and its internal dispute resolution mechanisms, having prepared several first-instance briefs before the UN Dispute Tribunal and appeal briefs before the UN Appeals Tribunal.

Benson has further experience in superior courts, including being part of the team that appeared before the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Kenya in the landmark Finance Act, 2023 case. This matter established key jurisprudence on public finance management, public participation, and tax law principles. He has also worked closely with content creators, fashion models and businesses, negotiating and reviewing influencer marketing contracts and addressing data protection issues in marketing.

Currently, Benson is researching litigation strategies for cross-border constitutional and human rights issues arising in business contexts. He is also exploring the jurisdictional challenges of domestic courts in adjudicating extraterritorial internet disputes.
